Grand Parade - June 13, 2026
The Oremfest Grand Parade is a vibrant celebration of Orem’s culture with colorful floats, marching bands, and local talent! Many volunteers are needed to help make the parade possible. Thank you for being an important part of the celebration!

Please read the volunteer details carefully before signing up for a shift.

Grand Parade Volunteers Details -
- Arrival Time: 5:00 PM
- Location: Volunteers meet at the staging area located at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saint chapels located at 800 S and 800 East in Orem (next to Costco). The parade terminates at the Smiths Parking lot located at Center St. and State Street.
- Parade Length: 1.67 miles
- Transportation: Parking is very limited at the staging area. We highly encourage volunteers to arrange to be dropped off at the staging area and picked up at the parade termination area. Transportation from the termination area to the staging area is not provided.
- Gear: All volunteers receive a free t-shirt, a snack pack, and a water bottle. Please bring additional water and food to tide you over until the end of the parade. Dress appropriately for the weather, and wear good walking shoes.
- End Time: The end time will differ depending on the volunteer position and can range from 7:00 PM to 9:00 pm.

Pre-Parade Group (25+ people)
- Assist with passing out mini flags to the parade attendees
- Carry posters with Parade Line-up QR code and Parade Safety
- Arrival Time: 5:00 PM
- Approximate End Time: 7:00 PM
Parade Banner Group (2-4 people)
- Carry a lightweight banner through the parade
- 6 groups of 2-4 are needed
- Arrival Time: 5:00 PM
- Approximate End Time: between 8:00 PM and 9:00 PM
Parade Staging Area Group (10+ people)
- Assist with directing parade entries
- Assist with float judging
- Arrival Time: 4:30 PM
- Approximate End Time: 8:00 PM
Parade Termination Area Group (10+people)
- Assist with directing parade entries
- Collect banners and dignitary signs
- Arrival Time: 7:00 PM
- Approximate End Time: 9:00 PM
Parade Flag Carriers (25+ people)
- Assist with carrying a super-sized U.S. Flag
- Arrival Time: 5:00 PM
- Approximate End Time: Between 8:00 PM and 9:00 PM

Please read through and sign the agreement below if you are over the age of 18. If you are under the age of 18, please have a parent/legal guardian read through and sign the agreement on your behalf.

Volunteer Agreement

I represent to the Oremfest Committee ("Committee") that I am fully authorized to sign for and bind the undersigned volunteer ("Volunteer") regarding participation in Oremfest. On behalf of the Volunteer, I agree to comply with all rules prescribed by the Committee as deemed necessary for the efficient and safe conduct of the Oremfest and related activities. I agree to conduct myself in a proper, appropriate manner during the Oremfest and related activities and to not engage in any activity that is dangerous or likely to cause harm, injury, or damage to the person or property of others.

RIGHT OF TERMINATION: I understand that the Committee reserves the right to restrict or reject my participation without liability to the Committee. Any member of the Committee may exercise this right at any point in time, before or during the Oremfest, for any reason considered by the Committee to be inconsistent with the goals, values, and objectives of the Oremfest.

INDEMNIFICATION: As a condition of being a participant in the Oremfest, I agree to assume full responsibility for my conduct and to indemnify and hold the Oremfest, the Oremfest Committee and their respective volunteers, representatives, and agents; and the City of Orem and its officers, officials, employees, representatives, volunteers and agents; and all others having any responsibility therefore, harmless from any liability, claim, loss or expense (including attorney's fees) caused by or arising from (a) any conduct or negligence by me (b) any act of any Oremfest participant or spectator (c) any infringement or violation by me of the rights of others.

I understand that the Committee reserves the right to screen volunteer applicants and will place applicants in specific locations and positions based on the needs of the Committee. I understand that I will not be paid for my services as a volunteer, and I am giving my time freely to the Oremfest.

I understand that submitting this volunteer application does not automatically guarantee my participation in Oremfest, and that I will be notified in writing of such acceptance.
